Quality, food safety, legality, continuous improvement and customer satisfaction are aspects of growing importance at ALIMENTACIÓN Y FARMACIA, S.A., hereinafter ALIFARMA, which is why the orientation towards satisfying the needs of our customers has been our main policy since the beginning of our activity.

At ALIFARMA we work to ensure compliance with the requirements established in our Food Safety and Quality Management System implemented under the requirements of the IFS Broker and IFS Logistics global food safety standards, the main objectives of which are as follows:

  1. To optimise the processes of marketing and distribution of our products and service provision.
  2. To gain the trust and recognition of our customers.
  3. To strengthen our prestige in the market, the quality of the products marketed and distributed and our marketing and distribution capacity.
  4. To ensure the safety, legality and authenticity of the products marketed and distributed to protect our customers.
  5. Ensure that the products marketed and distributed conform to the quality specified for each of them.
  6. To control all the phases of the "process control" chain in order to prevent incidents associated with the safety, legality and authenticity of the products marketed and distributed and to assume responsibility towards our customers, should they occur.
  7. Develop, implement and maintain our Food Safety Plan based on HACCP principles and full traceability control.
  8. Develop, implement and maintain sustainable development practices that include a clear commitment to environmental, ethical and personal responsibility at all levels of our organisation.
  9. Updating and updating personal skills, these being appropriate to the functions carried out by each of our employees through the correct management of our human resources that promotes ethics, training and continuous assessment, these aspects being applicable to all employees who carry out tasks that affect or may affect the safety, legality, authenticity and quality of our products.
  10. Increase employee confidence and commitment and reduce staff turnover.
  11. To understand and live the culture of food safety in order to drive continuous improvement in all our processes and reduce the risk of incidents associated with the products marketed and distributed.
  12. To promote shared values, beliefs and standards that affect the mentality and behaviour of all our staff in relation to food safety through the promotion of the food safety culture by Senior Management, as this helps us to organise ourselves and our staff to be able to prevent and detect deviations in any process that affects the safety, quality and legality of the products marketed and distributed.
  13. Ensure that the facilities are in perfect conditions of order, maintenance and cleanliness.

The quality and food safety management system implemented in ALIFARMA is continuously reviewed and improved based on feedback from the customer's perception of the service provided and the conformity of the requirements of the products marketed and distributed.

All our staff contribute to the development, maintenance and evaluation of the quality and food safety management system, continuously reporting problems they can detect, suggesting improvements, cooperating in audits and complying with the good working practices implemented in our company.

In order to ensure that this policy is understood at all levels defined in our company, the Quality Department informs all employees about the continuous implementation of the quality and food safety management system, as it affects all members of our company, thus demonstrating the commitment acquired by the Management to maintain the provisions of this policy, based on quality and food safety.

All ALIFARMA personnel have the necessary and up-to-date training in food hygiene and safety and have at their disposal the means and facilities that allow them to have and maintain high standards of hygiene.

Finally, it should be noted that, although the coordination and execution of the necessary actions to ensure quality are carried out by those responsible, the ultimate responsibility for achieving it lies with our CEO, who guarantees the human, technical and economic means to achieve it in order to ensure that we market and distribute safe products that comply with the requirements established in the standards that govern our QMSAS.

This Policy is reviewed annually at the latest and communicated to all staff to ensure that its compliance with applicable legal requirements is maintained, that safe, legal, safe, genuine and high quality products continue to be distributed, and that the effectiveness of the food safety and quality management system is continually improved and recorded in the annual system review records.
